Damla Su Türemen, a student of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, made us all proud with her great achievements in national and international karate competitions.
Damla Su Türemen won the gold medal by coming 1st in the Kata category at the Turkish U21, U18 and U21 Karate Championships held at Ankara Taha Akgül Sports Hall between 02-06 January 2025. After this outstanding success, she also competed in the Karate1 Series A competitions held in Tbilisi, Georgia between 10-12 January 2025. Our student, who competed in the women's team kata category, managed to win another gold medal by coming to the top here.
Damla, who successfully passed the qualifications for the National Team selection and won the right to represent our country at the European Championship to be held in Poland on 7-9 February 2025, continues to honour both our school and our country.
