On 3 May 2026, at the Muharrem Dalkılıç 10,000-metre Turkish Championships and the Olympic & SEM Trial Races held in Izmir, our students Derya Kunur and Elif Akçiçek achieved significant successes.
Derya Kunur, having finished first in the Women’s 10,000 metres, will represent our province and our country at the event to be held in Spezia, Italy, on 23 May 2026.
Elif Akçiçek, meanwhile, has met the qualifying standard for the World Under-20 Championships in the U20 category, securing her place at the championships to be held in the USA in August.
We congratulate our students and wish them every success in the competitions they will be taking part in.
