Our university hosted the Special Aptitude Test for Sports Sciences (ÖZYES) as part of the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), organised by the Centre for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM) for programmes admitting students in the field of sports sciences in the 2026–2027 academic year. The Physical Fitness Test (FYT), which formed part of the examination, took place on 15–16 August 2026 at our University’s Indoor Sports Hall.
A total of 349 candidates took part in the FYT, which was held in three sessions. The examination process, during which candidates’ physical fitness was assessed, was conducted in accordance with the rules and procedures established by ÖSYM.
Our University completed the necessary preparations to ensure the examination was conducted in a smooth and orderly manner. A suitable examination environment was created for candidates and examination staff, ensuring the process was carried out in accordance with the established schedule and regulations.
The examination was completed without incident under the coordination of our University’s management, academic and administrative staff, and examination officials.
