Muş Alparslan University students became a source of great pride with their outstanding achievements in the Turkish Senior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship. Our athletes left their mark on the championship with their performances in individual categories.
Achievements of our students who ranked:
- 77 kg: Ahmet Yılmaz, Turkey Champion
- 67 kg: Murat Fırat, Turkey Champion
- 68 kg: Hacı Karakuş, 2nd in Turkey
- 82 kg: Ömer Can Doğan, 3rd in Turkey
- 67 kg: İsmail Culfa, 3rd in Turkey
Especially Ahmet Yılmaz, last year's third in the world, continued his outstanding performance this year and maintained his title as the Turkish champion for the last three years.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican congratulated our students and stated that our university's support for sporting achievements will continue to increase.
