The 3rd Traditional Inter-Unit Futsal Tournament, organised in cooperation with Muş Alparslan University and Eğitim-Bir-Sen Muş Branch No. 2, ended with the final matches and award ceremony.
In the tournament held between 13-22 May 2025, 9 teams fought fiercely. In the final match, the Faculty of Sports Sciences defeated its rival Building Works team 4-2 and became the champion of the tournament. In the third place match, the Faculty of Education beat the Çiftlik team with a score of 11-4 and completed the tournament in third place.
Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Talat Körpınar, Deputy Secretary General Serhan Demir, Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Şükrü Çobanoğlu, President of Memur-Sen and Eğitim-Bir-Sen Muş Branch No. 1 Mah Barışan, President of Eğitim-Bir-Sen Muş Branch No. 1 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Turan Güler, President of Eğitim-Bir-Sen Muş Branch No. 2 and many academic and administrative staff, students and their families attended the cup and medal ceremony held after the final competitions.
The championship cup was presented to the Faculty of Sports Sciences team by Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Talat Körpınar.
The champion team showed an exemplary social responsibility behaviour and donated the 11,400 TL gift voucher they won as a prize to Gaza.
