Dr Cengizhan SARI, a lecturer at our faculty, took part in a workshop entitled ‘Strengthening Knowledge of Anti-Doping and Enhancing Educational Capacity in Sports-Related Undergraduate Programmes’.
Organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Turkey and the Anti-Doping Association, the workshop took place on 3–4 April 2026 at the Istanbul Riva Sports Camp and Training Centre.
The workshop, which was also attended by the Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Turkey, Dr Osman Aşkın BAK, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, Av. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safa KOÇOĞLU GÜRSOY; Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Farid GAYİBOV; Head of the Council of Europe’s Anti-Doping Unit, Jamie BROWN; Rector of Hacettepe University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit GÜRAN; UNESCO representatives; and numerous academics specialising in the field of anti-doping.
