The 'Inter-University Women-Men Basketball Tournament' organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation with the participation of Van Yüzüncüyıl University, Dicle University and Mardin Artuklu University and hosted by our University ended with the competitions played yesterday.
The last day of the basketball competitions held in Muş Youth Services New Sports Hall witnessed competitive matches. As a result of the matches held on the 3rd and last day of the basketball competitions, Dicle University came first in men's basketball, Muş Alparslan University came second and Van Yüzüncüyıl University came third. For women, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University came first, Mardin Artuklu University came second and Muş Alparslan University came third.
Deputy Governors Cihat Abukan and Mustafa Batuhan Alpboğa, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Önder Şekeroğlu, Advisor to the Rector Assoc. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Şükrü Çobanoğlu, Prof. Dr. Alper Karadağ, Provincial Director of Sports Mehmet Arif Taşdemir, academicians, students and sports lovers attended the basketball tournament. At the end of the tournament, trophies and medals were presented to the ranking teams.
