Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican visited the "Winter Development Camp" applied training area organized by the Turkish Mountaineering Federation (TDF) and came together with nature enthusiasts and professional climbers.
Rector's Advisors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz and Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Şükrü Çobanoğlu accompanied our Rector who visited the training area in Kurtik Mountain.
Our Rector Alican, who met with experts in mountaineering and received detailed information about the practical training, stated that this activity makes an important contribution to nature sports and the spread of the culture of living in touch with nature. He also emphasized that this event, which took place on Kurtik Mountain, is important to increase interest in nature sports and mountaineering.
